Hello my friends,
I have a little idea spooking around in my brain for a while.
I would like to do a dio situated in India during WWI.
Does anyone have some informations about which aircrafts were in India?
Maybe Camels, Bristol fighters, Dh9a or Hissos?
Thank you in advance.

Hope this might help you I found this on another site.
Can't say how accurate it is.
Two RFC/RAF squadrons were based in India during the Great War: Nos 31 and 114 Sqns.
No 31 Sqn at Risalpur, Bannu, Tank, Khanpur, Dera Ismail Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Lahore.
No 114 Sqn at Lahore, Quetta and Jubbulpore, with a detached flight at Aden.
Both were equipped with Henry Farman and BE 2c/2e aircraft.

I have an Airfix B.E. 2c kit, and a decent history of 31 Sqdn....

Yes, something like that is the idea.
May be a plane ran over the airstrip, got stuck in a rice field and has to be pulled out by an elephant.
So many ideas..... ::)

How about an elephant being used as a plane tug? An elephant pulling a BE2 like Manni said? Cool idea!
