Here's my first post to the forum. I haven't seen this model built up anywhere on the web so I took it as a challenge to see it was 'build-able'. Finished it in under a week, not a lot of parts to this kit and the castings had very thin resin flash.
Here's a history of this odd bird
http://www.aviastar.org/air/england/sage-2.php
The parts are actually well cast although the detail is a little soft in places around the sides near the engine. The clear sheet wraps around the cockpit and after several dry runs fit perfectly. I initially thought of using Canopy glue to attach it but am now going to use double faced tape so I can pull it back and reposition it as needed. I spend considerable time painting the cockpit but after attaching the top wing I might as well painted it in pink and purple dots as no one will see it. The Gnome engine, if actually seen, I'd replace, but the huge spinner hides it so am going with the kit's casting. Not much rigging on this little bird either so that's another plus. Decals decided to break up so I was very careful in getting them from the transfer sheet to the wings or fuselage.

The fabric areas were painted with Gunze Aqueous Radome (H318) with a few drops of Tamiya yellow added. The metal parts were brush painted Vallejo Light Grey (70990).

Really unique and well done model; I've never seen this one before let alone a model of it. The "glass work" is exceptionally well done, nice work!

That is a very unusual but very interesting type. Would make a good subject for a scratch build.

A very nice model of a very odd looking aeroplane, you did a great job putting this one together and finishing off with excellent painting.

Thanks for the compliments. I hadn't tackled a Spin resin kit before and they aren't bad models. Not much cockpit detail, and who would see it anyway once the top wing was glued on.
Now into the throws of building the AZ Models Gotha - just waiting on daylight loz.
