Fellow Modelers,
Below are photos of a 1/48 DML SPAD XIII built by modeler Scott Lyle. He used Model Master enamel paints (which I use almost exclusively). I really like the colors he used. They are:
>Flat Radome Tan-1709 (lower fuselage and lower wings)
>Flat Sand-1706
>Flat French Chestnut-2107
>Flat RAF Interior Green-2062
>Flat Dark Green B-52-2027
>Flat Black-1149
Does anyone have an opinion on these colors or any reason why they are not appropriate to use?
Thanks
Phillip1

I think that the colors look good - maybe just a tad bright but that likely is just be the model being under intense lighting

The Red Barron/petrov27-Thanks for taking the time to respond. I will probably mix a couple of drops of medium gray to the black to create a dark charcoal gray. In addition, I would dry brush light ghost gray over the finished color to lighten it.
