Do any of you know about the Caudron G-3 1/24 kit by Metrop?
It is an old kit, made in the 1990's if I am not mistaken
Questions,
Do any of you have one (or more)?
Do any of you have one where the frames have not self-destructed?
Have any of you built one?
Thanks,

Found this on ebay, quite expensive but it is a rare kit. http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Pocher-Metrop-Caudron-G3-1-24-model-aeroplane-Not-Protar-Hasegawa-or-Tamiya-/222455846532?hash=item33cb66d684:g:cAgAAOSw4CFY27yC
This next link gives some good photos of the kit, you will need to scroll down a bit to get to the Caudron G3 kit. http://www.modelkitcollecting.com/topic357.html
BTW, the kit was first produced in 1985.

One of our IPMS Club members here had seen one of these on a back shelf in a Hobby Shop in Toronto a few years ago and, on a whim, contacted them to see if it was still there. It was, he made them an offer, and got it for a very reasonable price. I went through the box last weekend and it is indeed a real prize! I was particularly impressed with the metal fittings and the "see through" effect on the wings etc. Very rare, very nice, and a very good deal, doesn't get much better then that! (A few of the metal struts appear damaged but repair/replacement looks relatively simple.)
I'm sure I won't have to do much arm twisting to get him to enlist and publish his Build when he does it. He's an "omnibus" Modeller, does mostly aircraft with minors in other subjects and a bit of Model Railroading as well.
Cheers,
Lance

I have found one after years
The metal fittings are broken into piece and unusable, anyway the kit is worth a place in any shelf. ....
