All,
I took a bit of time away from the Short float plane to finally finish this little guy up. I added all the final control wires on the tails, ailerons etc. as well as some more fin rigging. I'm calling it done!

I continue to be amazed at how much fun these paper models are and how they turn out really nicely. I'm really enjoying putting them together and they tweak another skills set I haven't used while plastic modeling. Highly recommended!
Thanks for looking and have a great week.

Very good. It is nice to see, that modeling is also possible with simple materials. Great.

Imagine one with 3D printed surface detail.

Thanks, Folks...
Thumbs! You can do that just with some simple embossing. I've done it on a WWII fighter and added cool rivets etc. The paper is really amenable to that treatment. I have an Aviatik I want to do soon as well as a Gotha and I'll give the ribs a shot.
We'll see how it looks... ;)

I agree that it is really interesting to see models in a different medium. You certainly make these as well as your plastic ones.
