Hi fredjocko,
It's a Sopwith Snipe flown by Sapozhnikov. He got killed in a crash in 1920 in a crash in this aircraft when the engine failed on take off. There's a lot of controversy about the overall colour and the star insignia. I stayed with the latest opinions that the stars are black. The plane got repainted, so the tint of green is questionable. Colours always are in WW1 I guess. The kit is one of the later WNW kits and it shows. The early once were very good, this one is just a little better yet. Can't wait for my Camel to arrive to compare.
