At last I got myself together and finished this rather nice model. Thank You everyone who followed the thread, the encouragement was needed! It's in new, clean finish as I like it like that, I know some PE Spandau barrels etc would have improved it a lot, but it looks OK straight from the box...

Very nicely done Marc, and that cockpit detail certainly belies it's Scale! A fitting end to the 2016 Modelling Year, she's a beauty!
Cheers,

Great work! That control stick (almost?) looks like that of a Fokker D.VII, by the way.

Very nicely done Marc, this is a very attractive model of a really nice aeroplane, the cockpit is outstanding.

Have really enjoyed how your model is finished. The detail and paintwork is awesome.

Very nice , Marc. Great to see it finished so cleanly and colourfully. What is next? Maybe an Iskra? :-)
-
Super result Monty!
As Prze asked, what's next?
cheers :)

Well done, Monty! Not an aircraft that I like very much, but you have made a fine job of modelling it. As others have said, the cockpit is a very accomplished piece of work.
Best wishes

It definitely looks more than OK straight from the box: very clean and nice finish, I like it a lot!

Great work. I do like the finish you've achieved with the propeller. One could be forgiven in thinking it really is made from wood such is the excellent job you've done on it.

Thank You Toby, Andreas, Manni, Nigel, Boggie, Przemo, Juan, Des, Jeroen and Lance for the very positive comments on the Junkers - it makes modelling so much more rewarding! Your support is appreciated... Just a few answers, Yes, it does look like Idflieg standardized the control column and grip, it looks the same as the DVII etc .. and my next project? Well, I need to finish off some very old builds, like this one, WNW... but it was accidentally left near a window, and the sharp sun here in SA has made the decals blister a bit on the wings... I will try to fix it and finish the build anyway, I have just spent too much effort on it!

And Yes, Przemo, the Iskra is very high up on the build list!

Splendid! ;) I am looking forward to it! :)

Beautiful little Junkers, Marc! Good luck with your D.VII. I've found that Mr Mark Setter works wonders for almost any decal repair. Just poke those blister and add a drop of the setter and they'll be good as new next day.
Cheers,
Bud

What is there not to be pleased with and proud of with that? An excellent build and a very interesting thread - all that we expect from this site. Congratulations.
Stephen.
