Title: Painting Spandau's help
Post by: kajones1644 on December 26, 2016, 06:59:07 PM
Hi
Any tips or advice in painting the forward slotted section? I want to ensure I can get enough paint in with my airbrush to ensure coverage of the barrel but at the same time done want to flood the exterior.

Many thanks in advance

Keith

Mist the paint on in very light coats until you get the effect you are after . Flat base paint will cover the area easier the a gloss paint will and take less coats .

I am normally using brass rod for the barrel as I use a burnishing liquid to blacken the brass barrel and the PE cooling jacket. If using Gaspatch guns, I'd recommend painting the barrel before inserting it into the cooling jacket.
Hope that helps
