Hi all. I'm a long time moddeler but a new member. I have built many models over the years (I'm 63) but most have not been overly detailed. I would do a good bit of detailing to car/truck models and did some to WWI aircraft models buy that's about it. I have a Merit Fokker DR! under the Christmas tree this year and plan to do a lot of work detailing it. I have downloaded many photos of them and many articles about detailing the models. Hopefully I will to it proud.
I am in southeastern NC and have held many jobs. I'm now retired from being a watchmaker, so small detail work is nothing new to me.

Welcome aboard, Dave! Your watchmaking skills will hold you in good stead when it comes to the finer details of WWI aircraft modeling. I look forward to learning from you the art of handling small parts and perhaps starving my carpet monster to death.
Cheers,
Bud
