My son is a table top gamer as well, but in a different type of game. He came to me a little while back and asked me if I would paint some figurines for him.
Being the good father that I am, I agreed. So, now that I have them done, here are a few pictures of what I painted for him.

Lovely work, John; your son will love them.
While shifting things round and tidying up the other day I came across the hundreds of 15th -17th century wargames figures I painted over time. They form a nice display now in the display cabinet.
Best wishes

Apparently, your mother in law and my Ex Wife bear a striking resemblance!

Thank you all for the kind words. I think the dragon turned out so well due to it being a monoplane like flying creature. I found the landing gear details the toughest. Blending 6 colors in layers to get the claw coloring was an adventure. Hopefully I can get back into the plane manufacturing soon.

Thanks Rick, much appreciated. I used to do figures long ago, even 1/2400th naval figs. I moved away from doing them due to my need for planes for the conventions. Once I've built and painted all I need of planes, I may go back to paint figs. I was apprehensive at first when my son asked me, but once I got started, it all came back to me.

Fixed the pictures.
...and a belated thanks to Monty.
I'll be slowly fixing the pictures on my other posts now that I have recovered all of them from photobucket.
Many were posted from my phone and I will need to go through everything and get them all in one place to get everything I need for fixing old posts.
