Does the long horizontal black pipe connect to the magneto or elsewhere?

Thanks. I am speaking of the long pipe with some sort of clamp or fitting between every cylinder. Positioned right below the ribs on each cylinder.
In the closeup photo, there is lettering on it that appears to be "N. I. 58558"

Thanks, Red Baron, that's it.
Edgar, I see the one you are speaking as well, diagonal not horizontal & much thinner in diameter and shorter in length than the one I was asking about.
I'm cleaning up the water pipe on a Roden 1/72 engine & I was curious as to what happened on the forward end of it. This particular kit doesn't have the magnetos, but I can use some from anther kit's spare engine.

You mean what is on the firs cylinder`s pipe end?
it`s cut with angle and that`s it!
I can show you some pictures, as I made this engine in 3d
Thanks! Pictures would be great whenever you have time!

yea justin is right thats the water pump at the rear of the engine and that pipe feeds the water jackets of the cylinders.
