Hello All
I notice from the Eduard new releases for October message which arrived in my mailbox yesterday an interesting dual combo release: they've boxed together in 1/48 scale a Fokker D.VII and a SPAD XIII. The box art looks delightful and the blurb reads as follows
"Dawn Patrol (Dual Combo) kit in EduArt edition, 1/48 scale. Contains Eduard plastic parts, Spad XIII and Fokker D.VIII. 2 camouflage schemes, Eduard decals + Eduard stencils, coloured photo etched parts, mask and full colour instruction manual. A2 size Dawn Patrol print from Shigeo Koike ..."
The asking price is 56,25 euros.
Do forgive me if I'm simply reporting old news.
Best wishes
Nigel

Are these new tool or just previous kits combined in a new box set?
-
Both are re-issues of previous kits. Nevertheless, I received both of them for review from Eduard and I have to say the quality is still excellent. On top, in this edition you also get masks and PE frets for both machines.

Like Dave I'm tempted to buy this set for the excellent print.

I've had this one unfinished on my bench for at least 3 years now. :-[
I'm curious about the accuracy of the event depicted in the print. Nevertheless, it's a lovely print, worth the price of admission.
Cheers,
Bud

I thought of that one after I posted. I don't have that boxing so I wasn't sure which markings other that American were included. I just have a couple of the late and early profipacs. I always wanted a "kicking mule" spad as well. Too many hat on the ring schemes.

Just got this at 1/3rd off on eBay. I shall get the print framed and put it over my workbench.
