Build one of these Pyro/Lindberg kits. With a little work, they can be made into really nice little models.
Cheers,
Dan

You have done a superb job with this kit Dan, the overall finish is excellent and you did a brilliant job with the rigging and the spoked wheels, well done, I love these pre-war machines.

Very nicely done, Dan, in fact a superb model. Results like this from such a "rough" Kit are truly a tribute to your skills, very impressive work throughout!
Cheers,

Lovely job, well done

What a beauty. Pure essence of pioneer aviation. Fine modelling, Dan.

She's truly stunning, Dan! Like Des, I love these pre-war kites and yours is inspiring.
Cheers,

The spoked wheels give the model so much extra authenticity. Basically it is a good kit but you have turned it into a little gem and really captured the fragility of the original.

Beautiful model !
Congratulations.

Wow, Dan this looks terrific.
It's unbeleiveable what you have done with this old kit. The spoked wheels are definety the cherry on top.
Chapeau,
Manni

A really huge "Thank You" to all of you. It's never hard to post on this great site and I learn so much. It can be humbling, though, when you see all of your work. There are lots of folks who looked at my model, commented and it's hard to believe that I can post with that caliber of modeler.
Thank you, one and all...Dan

Hi Dan,
You did a fantastic job on that one.
Those old kits of the early aviation/Pre-WWI stuff are pretty COOL. I built the Deperdussin some years ago and it came out pretty nice. I have all 6 in the series in my stash. Of course, the series is based on the movie "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines". I have the original versions from "Inpact" (they were then produced by "Pyro" and later "Lifelike" ...and I believe "Linberg" has them now. I think the original Inpact boxes have the coolest artwork =).
After looking at yours, I may have to build another one =)).
regards,
Paul

Dan, I`ve just noticed this post. It`s the best Avro Biplane model I`ve ever seen.
I can only wish that mine - when time comes will be at least half as good as yours. I simply love it!
-
Dan,
Absolutely stunning AVRO my old friend.
Highest Regards,
Gregory Jouette
PS: ARRRG Now I'll never get the theme song from " Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines"out of my head!
