Hello! My name is Brae, and I build 1:12 scale dollhouses as a main hobby. I belong to a forum that holds a kit build contest every year. We all build the same kit and can do whatever we want with that kit.
This year, my idea called for a WWI airplane replica, and I chose the 1:32 scale Academy Sopwith Camel. I have some experience building model cars from twenty-some years ago, but this was my maiden voyage into airplanes and rigging! I found this website and a few other forums out there that helped me immensely with the build, so I want to offer a huge thank you!!!
I can't reveal the entire scope of my project since I haven't shown the final build yet. It's done and the deadline is Sept 3, so the big reveal will be soon. But, I have posted my Sopwith Camel publicly, so you can see that. I see there is a place to post builds here on the forum, so I will head over there next. :]
Regards,
Brae
