The Lone Star website has not been recently updated. The kit is available for sale now at $150 USD.

Anyone know if this is still available? Any impressions of this kit. I saw a build article by Lance Krieg - looked pretty impressive after over 700 hours of work.

Mike West of Lone Star Models had shut down ordering while catching up with filling orders. He was originally going to open it up for ordering again by the first of April. With the recent death of his wife and related issues, as well as health issues of his own, he has now pushed it back to August.
He does post on Hyperscale (look for posts by "Resin Prince"), so that would be the place to keep up with any developments.

The model built by Lance Krieg was the old LSM vacuum formed kit. The latest version is all cast resin with far more detail.

I want to obtain the later, resin version. I have seen some shots of the resin and it looks like a great start point for me. The vacuform version required a lot of scratch building - which is why I presume Lance Krieg spent so much time on his model.
