Title: Nieuport detail question

Hi Guys -just wondered if someone could confirm if the aileron balance/bellcranks in the wings on a Nieu 16 are aluminium coloured or were painted? and if so any idea of colour.

On the Nieuport 11 at Le Bourget they are painted grey.

Thanks Borsos - on one of the images I have they are distinctly darker than the struts which I assume would be the usual bluey grey. I will paint these a darker grey then :)
