Post by: Chrupek on August 20, 2012, 06:32:08 PM
Hello!
Advance warn honorable body that my English leaves much to be desired. I use the Google translator. I'm sorry for any errors!

This is my first post on this forum and my first WWI plane.
So far, I built models in 1/32 scale aircraft from WWII period. At the urging of his colleagues tried their hand at aircraft made of wood and rags.
The choice fell on the Royal Aircraft Factory Farman Experimental Fe.2b in 1/32 of the stable Wingnut Wings. As additives used a set of HGW belts. To perform pulls the tube from purchased Bobsbuckles. Loops have done yourself a tension vein is 0.12 mm. I sincerely hope that you will like the model. Next on my assembly line is Gotha G.IV in 1/32 of the Wingnut Wings Polish painting in 1920 from the Polish-Bolshevik War. In Gotha G.IV elements will be used Taurus Models resin production.

Welcome to the forum, Marcin!  What a spectacular introduction!  As other have said, you picked a tough one for your first WWI aircraft.  It doesn't get more complex than this, but you did a stunning job.  All other WWI aircraft should be easy for you, now.  Even the Gotha.
Cheers,
Bud

Nothing like diving straight into the deep end without knowing how to swim.  I've been doing WW1 models for (mumblemumble) a long time, and rigging the F.E.2b is definitely "skill stretching."   Richard Alexander at WNW says he thinks this kit is more difficult than the Gotha.  I think he's right.

So, for a first attempt to look as really good as this one does is a very high achievement.  Well done!
