Hi all,
I thought you might like to see my latest (7th) Wingnut Wings model.
This is a Roland C.IIa (Li) ‘Walfisch’ Black III operating with Schusta 13 during early 1917, as flown by Vfw Hesse.
• Manufacturer: Wingnut Wings.
• Scale: 1/32
• Type: Roland C.IIa (Later version)
• Paints/Weathering: Tamiya (by brush and Airbrushed), Flory clay washes and AK weathering washes.
• Aftermarket: HGW seat belts, Gaspatch weapons, figures from Kellerkind and Model Design Centre, ground accessories from Historex and ground cover from Scenic grass mats.
• Rigging: Gaspatch turnbuckles with micro nickel/silver tube from Albion Alloys. Rigging wires from monofilament (0.12 mm diameter).
• Engine ignition leads: Created using fine lead wire.
• Display case and plaque: Made by on-line specialists.
My next build will be the Wingnut Wings 1:32 scale Sopwith Triplane.

Amazing model and display...absolutely superb!

Oh, W O W !! I guess this is the most beautiful Roland C.IIa (late), I've seen so far! Thanx for sharing.
-
Now that looks very good indeed. The engine looks worn without being worn out, but the rest of the airframe looks as though it too has been used but is not on its last legs. Fantastic model all round - one to be proud of.

A superb looking model. The interior and engine work is amazing and the finished product is excellent, the addition of the figures adds the finishing touch, well done.

Spectacular sandbagger, absolutely stunning work top to bottom! The engine is as good as I've seen here and the interior detail as well. I could go on and on, what a pleasure to view!
Cheers,
Lance

She's a stunner, Sandbagger! I've got the C.II in my stash. Now I'm tempted to get the C.IIa. Thanks.
