Hi everyone,
I missed the formation of this forum. It must have happened when I was busy elsewhere :)
I tend to spend a lot of my internet time over at http://aeroscale.kitmaker.net (http://aeroscale.kitmaker.net) where I do the editing for members' feature articles, kit reviews and run the Model of the Month contest.
I see a fair few familiar names that I recognise from the old Aerodrome forum and elsewhere so hi to old companions. Hi also to new friends I haven't met yet. For you, here's a snippet of my staff bio from Aeroscale:
"Jessica has been building models since the early 1970s. She comes from an artistic family, and found her outlet in 3-dimensions rather than the more traditional 2. She prefers brush painting to sprays, and while she bought an airbrush 10 years or so ago, she still hasn't got around to using it. She intends to start Real Soon Now."
I build anything that sits on a hobbyshop shelf, in any scale that interests me. I've been called (playfully, I think) "The Queen of trash kits". I'm not afraid of vacforms or short run cottage industry kits and often prefer them to yet another TamaFujiEduGawa injected wunderkit. I like to build in themes. My current favourite themes are airliners/civil aircraft, 1950's jets and WW I aircraft.

Welcome to the forum, Jessie. I think you'll really enjoy it here. The best modellers in WWI aviation gather here as well as neophites, all getting along famously. You won't find a finer gathering of human beings anywhere. So glad you decided to join.
Cheers,
Bud
