Hi folks, I just got back from a trip to France and wanted to pass along a recommendation if you we ever thinking of touring the Somme area. We stayed in a small village between Arras and Cambrai called Baralle, and Le Clos St. Georges was a fantastic find. The place was built in 1860 and survived both wars. It was a German field hospital in WWI, and a German headquarters in WWII. Full of character, the place has been restored by the owners who had it passed down from family. The hospitality was second to none, and the owners Francois and Genevieve Mercier even speak English.
If anyone is interested in more info please just send a message.
Cheers,
Gary

Would you mind sending me the address?
I'm overdue a visit to this region of France.
Many thanks,

Hi Guy,
Message sent. You are still a young one! It took me until my "60th year" to finally make it to the brickworks by the Bray-Corbie road ;)
Cheers,
Gary
