This is a film from the Imperial War Museum, London, filmed at Bickendorf (Cologne) in 1918/19:

Short, but very entertaining, I watched it twice with my morning coffee and it's well worth it, thanks for sharing your "find"!

An interesting little film. Wish it was a bit clearer.
Can anyone identify the Jasta(s) or markings.
A few machines seem to have the same dark front fuselage/lighter rear.
Individual markings:
1) at 2:06 dark fuselage with black/white quartered square on fuselage and top wing.
Or maybe red/white ?
2) 2:14 dark front fuselage/lighter rear, white cross, dark diamond with 2 white bars.
The cross might be overpainted ?
3) Light fuselage with black/white checkerboard and striped fuselage band.
I've seen this one in one of my books.
4) 2:27 dark front fuselage/lighter rear, black trident in front of cross.
5) 2:42 large white 'L' on fuselage. A Jasta 5 machine is similar ??
6) 2:51 & 2:58 white fuselage band with diagonal dark stripe
7) 2:51 dark front fuselage/lighter rear, dark zig-zag fuselage band
Thanks for any comments.
