A quick picture of my recently completed von Richthofen brothers. These are 1/32 scale from The Model Cellar. Painted with oils over acrylics. I am waiting for the base to arrive and then will complete the groundwork and attach the figures. I'll take a better photograph when complete.

Even with just one photo these figures look superb, you certainly have a great talent for painting figures.

I certainly wish I had your skills! Painting figures is such an artform. You captured everything perfectly. Great work!

Lothar's jacket is rather dirty. Maybe he should give his batman a smack or two for not cleaning his master's stuff... 8)
I like it - hopefully the base will arrive shortly and you will be able to snap some more photos of the brothers Richthofens.

Hi Kreston,
I just stumbled on this now...
Wow, very nice! You did a great job on our Richthofen brothers.
Did you ever get the base, and get the ground work done? Would love to see pics of the finished product.

Paul

Beautiful work on the figures, Kreston. You have an
amazing talent for painting figures, my friend!
Cheers,
Ernie :)

Thank you!
Paul, these ended up going to a collector who wanted to place them next to some of his model aircraft and wanted them without any groundwork. They were a joy to paint!

Beautiful and lifelike models, congratulations

Beautifully finished Kreston and I have to say they look very like their subjects. Many of the figures I see do not capture a likeness of their subjects however Model Cellar consistently do so; I was fortunate to receive a gift of their Billy Bishop figure from Paul recently and am looking forward to completing it, my first attempt at a figure. I hope it turns out even half as good as these!
Cheers,
Lance
