Title: LVG C.VI built by Memorial Flight - walkaround [image heavy]

The LVG C.VI built by the Memorial Flight in France has now arrived in New Zealand and made its public debut at the TVAL flying weekend on 27th and 28th February 2016. It did not fly as the transfer of certification from France has not yet been completed. Some details have not been installed as yet - the radio and spare magazines for the observer's Parabellum. It looks brilliant! Observant readers will find lots of details to add to the WNW kit if you haven't built it yet.

Most of the images are reasonably large, clicking on them will make them bigger but if you save them down they will be even larger.

Hi Ian
Yes there was a deal done. In some Memorial Flight photos you can see an unpainted Albatros DV and their BE2f also came from TVAL

Some more pics from last weekend. The LVG is still undergoing test flights and the observers seat has been temporarily removed, and replaced by weights on the floor. An altimeter has been fitted between the centre section struts, on springs, just like the common practice back in 1918.

Wonderful Jamo, thanks so much for sharing these as with the original effort. Now, if I could just locate the model I missed before it went sold out for less then a mortgage on a tropical island and mansion life would be fairly complete!! ::)
