Title: Thinners for Drooling Bulldog paint
Post by: GrahamB on February 24, 2016, 10:14:52 AM
Hi,

I have just received some of these excellent paints but am temporarily stuck for thinners. I had tried ordering Gunze Mr Colour Thinners (recommended by Drooling Bulldog) from BNA Model World (Oz) but they can't be shipped to NZ. >:(

What are compatible/equivalent types? Tamiya laquer thinners? White spirit (mineral spirits)? Turpentine? Xylene? Acetone?

It is a real pain these days getting solvent-based products from overseas.

Cheers,

GrahamB

regular old lacquer thinner -- but they spray great right out of the bottle.

Thanks Bo - this is probably what I expected.
