Hello everyone!

Just making myself more productive and had this planned for while, not WWI but basically WNW quality, took me like two evening to get it ready for paint... camouflage is now in progress so Im posting something from before that took place.

Hi Lukas,
That is one great looking model! Question for you - what paint did you use for the front of the torpedoes?
Cheers,
Gary

Thank you Bud,Des and Gary once again for very positive comments - always appreciate it ;)

Front of torpedoes is Gunze MC 219 with drop of Gunze C61. Back of them is Gunze SM04. Both applied on very black surfacer that I polished with Tamiya polishing compound so I achieved very shiny surface ;) Hope that helps.

Hi Lukas,

That's very nice. Therapeutic to have an easy build and really focus on the paint. Great torps!

Can anyone think of a WW1 aircraft that carried a torp?

You did a brilliant job with the sub and torps Lukas, the painting is spectacular.

Lukas, the finished Seehund is a stunning model!  Your paintwork is
flawless and the weathering is perfect.  It is one of those models that
you could never get tired of looking at.  Beautifully done, my friend!

Lukas - that's one stunning model you have produced there mate. Superb weathering and a terrifically realistic overall effect, congratulations indeed on such a fine result.

Good to hear you are getting well settled even if work will get in the way but good luck with getting as much modelling time in as you can  ;)
