Hello,
As I continue to work on my primary projects and find myself waiting for drying, I manage to complete side projects.
So, here is my latest completion:

John,
Very well done Little Fokker! I love your schemes and you have done a terrific job on masking and painting this one!

Thank you all for your kind remarks.
Rick, as I have done on others like the black and white breguet, no masking was involved. The stripes and checkers were done by brush free hand and edges were cleaned up with an exacto blade. Honestly, I don't think I could do it with masking.
Thanks again all

Now that's a sharp scheme and so well done John. I am blown away by your brush skills, I can't even paint one uniform colour by brush without masking!
Very nice.
Cheers,
Lance

It is very difficult to believe that it is the Revell kit - stunning colour scheme and brilliantly finished. Good to see another brush man - but my painting is nowhere as good as that.
Do you know who the pilot was?
Stephen.

I'm amazed this is the old Revell kit. What a superb result!
Love the colour and marking scheme - never seen this one before.

looks great i didnt realize this plane was in these colors.i have seen the black and whites where you can see the fuselage with the dog, i guess i havent ever speculated on what the completed model might look like. its stunning.great job.

What a cracking build and it looks a scale larger. :)

Thank you all once again for your kind words.
Although I did attempt to paint the model to look as though it were prototypical, it does not represent any particular aircraft that I am aware of and the pilot insignia, which is unknown to me, was on a decal sheet which was unlabeled as to which aircraft it belonged.
My 14 yr old nephew will be attending his first gaming convention this April and requested that I make a plane for him to use in his first time flying in a convention game. He requested a red and black plane, mostly red. I came up with this scheme for him. He likes dogs, so I borrowed the insignia for him.
I wouldn't mind knowing who's insignia it is just in case someone asks.
My apologies for any confusion regarding the historical aspects which may be represented.
Thanks again for your kind words,
John

Its an actual craft I have seen photos.its also the logo for drooling bulldog paints so I think the pilot is known .I will check and get back to you .

The Dog on a chain emblem was featured by Karl`Carlos'meyer of Jasta 4, his Fok DvII(OAW) bore the usual jasta 4 markings,a black nose, struts and wheel covers and black/white borders to the fuselage.the dog in the emblem headed backwards.
(Richthofen's flying circus,Osprey aviation elite units,pg116)
Striking scheme you did there,though,John!
