Title: Sopwith 7F.1 Snipe , Baker's 2 (1/32, Wingnut Wings)
Post by: PrzemoL on February 01, 2016, 03:46:37 AM
My vision of Baker's Snipe numbered with "2", which served in Sqn 4 AFC at the very end of WW1.

The great WNW model was enhanced with the amazing Taurus Bentley from Łukasz. RAF style turnbuckle-less rigging made from fishing line, Bob's eyelets and polyimide amber tubes.

Let me be the first (if I'm fast enough typing!) to say....WOW!

What a piece of work!  I'm doing the same kit now in the same scheme and am using yours as help.  LOVE the colors you got on this one and the final display really makes it look real and come alive.

What a lovely finish.  Congrats!

Dan

Very very nice, Prze! I know you would have preferred the cowl to be on, but having it off creates a unique presentation that really showcases the Bentley engine beautifully. :)

Absolutely spectacular Prze! :o Magnificent work from nose to tail, the paint, the weathering, the rigging, all just "top drawer"........... and then there's the Bentley, you did a stunning job on it.
Another perfect model to join your collection of same, congratulations on one very fine Build, it was a pleasure to follow.
Cheers,
Lance

What can I add? It is simply an outstanding, amazing etc… model all round. The display is unusual but really sets off the engine and associated detail and the paint finish is ..well what  we have come to expect from you - just totally realistic. A master modeller and no mistake.

Stephen.

My word Przemol - what a superb model.

Beautifully painted and presented - the exposed engine looks amazing and well worth leaving the cowl and prop off, a really nice and somewhat different approach.

Congratulations on a very fine model indeed

Przemek - she`s great as always. Once again you`ve proven to be an extremely talented modeller. You also have managed to figure a really interesting way of presenting the beauty of the engine replica. I`m trully your fan  ;)
