Title: Sopwith Schneider, 1/48, Special Hobby
Post by: Naimbs on January 03, 2016, 01:18:11 AM
Hi,

I started this kit. I want to be the version that won the race Schneider in 1914.

That's a nice start on a fairly rare model.

Beautiful work! The wood tones, fabric, and bracing wires give a terrific contrast to the interior colors!

Your progress looks really good but I have one question - why have you painted the seat gloss black?
What was it made of in the original plane?

Des, Moustique, RAGIII, Martin, Xmald: Thank you, gentlemen!

I have one question - why have you painted the seat gloss black?

Hello,

the seat is not painted, I'm sorry, this is the picture. In the real aircraft, I think it is aluminum. But I'm not sure. And I do not know if there were seat belts  :-\.

A bientôt

Arnaud

Thank you friends!

The cockpit is finished. There are only the original dashboard.

The fuselage is closed. A little bit of putty is necessary, but it's almost nothing. The kit is really good.  Thank you SH!!

This should be relatively easy now.

Beautiful work so far Arnaud, do you plan to use decals to write SOPWITH on the fuselage sides?
