I am about to start the WNW Pfalz D.III and was planning to use some of the photo-etch elements from the Part of Poland set.
Among these are the inspection hatches on the nose. I was planning to open up some of these.
But how are these fixed to the plane? Are they screwed on or held in place with a handle on the inside or something?
Does anyone have a picture how they look on the inside?
And the last question, are they loose or connected to the airplane with a cable or something?
