Hi all – been a while between builds and needed something quick and easy, so here’s the Roden 1/48 Nieuport 28. The model is built straight out of the box, with the addition of seat belts from tape and rigging from elastic.
The aircraft is painted in the marking s of N6234, flown by 1st Lt Edward B Elliot, 27th Aero Squadron, Touquin, August 1918. The aircraft displayed a characteristic mix of American roundels and French rudder markings, plus the normal eagle and chequerboard markings of the 27th Aero. Decals came from the Superscale set MS481216. Decals behaved nicely but some silvered despite my best efforts and future baths.

Overall the Roden kit is a quick and simple build with little snags. Fit is great with no issues. Recommended.
Feedback always welcomed!

Brad, VEEEERY BEAUTIFUL!! The Nieuport 28 is one of my boyhood favourites (though only right after the Hannover Cl and Roland C.II, I have to admit), since one of my mates way back then got one for Christmas (Revell 1:72); so you've made a nice Christmas present for me by reawakening some beautiful memories: Thank you!
