Hello everyone,
I'm Jeroen, aged 37, from the Netherlands, and been building WWI planes for a few years now. I'm not building them exclusively, but there's always one (or more!) in progress. Most of my stuff so far is exclusively 1/72, but there also a few WingnutWings and Roden 1/32 kits waiting to be built.
I'm currently working on a 1/72 Roden Albatros D.Va and Fokker D.VII (OAW) that will recieve some Jasta 18 decals from Pheon.
Some other, older, stuff:

Encore/Roden Albatros D.III (Öffag S.253)

Less then stellar Roden Fokker D.VII
BTW, all of these models have a build review on ModellingMadness.com.
I hope to open a build thread on the Jasta 18 duo sometime soon, and hope to learn a lot of new things here -and obviously watch other modellers beautiful models! :-)
Best regards from The Netherlands,
Jeroen

Hello Jeroen, nice looking builds.

Hi Jeroen, nice to meet you here. ;)

Hello Jeroen and welcome to the forum. It's great to see your very accomplished models. My hands and eyes don't cope too brilliantly with 1/72 these days - so it's 1/48 or 1/32 for me now, but I was still looking at a Roden Gotha a couple of weeks ago and wondering how they turn out.
Best wishes
Nigel

That was quick -thanks everyone for the warm welcome! :)
My first build log, though it is a bit of a re-post so far, is up, but obviously it'll be updated until the models reach completion -and they use Aviattic 1/72 lozenge :)
Regarding the Gotha, the full-build review is on ModellingMadness at this link:

It's been a few years since I built it (and it was only my second biplane...) and I would do many things different now, but there's always my G.IV kit to do that with. All in al, despite being relatively complicated, it was a far more enjoyable built then the Fokker D.VII, which took me 4 years on and off, until it was rescued from the pile of shame...

Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome -I've been browsing quite a few topics, and everyone seems both helpful and respectful -which isn't always the case when in comes to forums (not just of the modelling kind)
@Warren: nice to see you here, as well! :) Build log has already been copied down here.
@RAGIII: nice to read your son enjoys Amsterdam -I actually live about 50km from there north-east, in the small old city of Enkhuizen. Not that far off (certainly not by US-standards!)
