Title: Fokker D.VII (OAW) from (Alb) WNW kit?
Post by: Chuckt5 on November 24, 2015, 10:12:27 AM
Forgive my ignorance of all thinks Fokker, but I'm kicking myself for not getting one of WNW's OAW offerings before it sold out.  :'(

Does the WNW Fokker Alb offering have all the parts to make a OAW version?

I really like Rudolf Stark's Jasta 35b scheme (purple strips over mottled fuselage "Li" on side).

Is it possible to make this version from the Alb kit if I get the decals?

you may want to download the oaw instructions to make sure the correct parts from the common sprue are used . for instance there are 3 different sets of gun feeds which are different heights.

Thanks.

I'll also keep looking online to see if I can buy the original OAW kit.  :'(

I was able to find/buy one of the OAW kits from one of our members, so I don't need to try converting a different Fokker into a OAW.  ;D

Thanks everyone for your input, Chuck.
