My name is Bill Jobson, and since the age of 12 ( when I built an Aurora Nieuport 11) have had a great interest in WW1 aircraft. At age 56 with kids out of the house I have a bit more time - and space - to spare I am looking forward to doing more building. Looking forward to spending much time here!

Englewood Cliffs, a couple of miles from the George Washington Bridge. I was born in the Bronx and work in Manhattan.

I have snapshots from my grandfather's buddy, who was in the U.S. Air Service in 1917. Looks like training planes, crew, staff, some aerial snaps. He was killed in a crash (accident) in 1917. I have a picture of the wrecked plane (Breguet, I believe). I will scan them, just don't know where to post them here. Thanks in advance!

For you and Bill, I try to go to Mosquitocon every year; it's in early April in Wayne, NJ. There isn't much of a WWI presence, so maybe we three could go next year and boost the entries for our era.
