I used to restore vintage motorcycles and the Brough Superior was always a must have machine, but they were way to expensive for me. I will have to have a look at the kits though.

Ohhhh,
I hope they make it on par with the Big Tamiya bike kits....I'd rather build this bike, or I'll
stick to my 1:1 Commando resto.....

Is this a reenactment of T.E.Lawrence racing a Brisfit?
I have a painting in my collection that looks very similar to this picture  ;)

Some pics here - if you do not see the small thumbnail pics (just empty boxes) you can still click them and get a big pic to come up:

An amazing looking model right down to the assembly of each cylinder cooling fin, incredible detail.

Probably take me a year just to make the drive chain alone - wonder how many parts comprise that (looks like each link is three or four bits?)

I assemble a very similar chain for my Huck Starter but in 1:12 scale, it comprised the two side plates, the roller and the pins and took quite some time to assemble, but it is a fully functional and very realistic chain. I can imagine that the 1:9 scale chain for the Brough will be even more intricate.

Well, MFH have listed the price for the 1:9 scale Brough Superior SS100, if my calculations are correct it will be selling for $609AUD plus tax plus post, ouch.
