What I find very interesting is the hard line colour demarcation in that glorious SPAD photo.

It's interesting to note what looks to be a removable panel with "PHOTO" stenciled on it. This must be how the camera was installed and retrieved. I'm not too familiar with Spads so I haven't noticed this type of panel before, and I haven't noticed it on other planes.
