Title: FREE... YES FREE WW1 KITS !!!
Post by: skeeterbuck on October 08, 2015, 10:51:46 AM
All the kits in this pic are free! These are kits from my stash that I never get around to building. That are all complete and un-started. I just ask two things:
1) that you pay the actual postage cost (I'm located in the USA) and
2) that you don't take them to re-sell.

If this goes well, I'm sure I have more kits to offer later. Just reply to the thread and them you can send a PM with the details etc.

Thanks, Chuck

4- Revell 1/28 Fokker Dr1 Tripes (Red Baron), 1- Hobbycraft copy of the same kit. 1- Revelll 1/28 Camel (Roy Brown) & 1 Revell 1/28 Spad XIII (Rickenbacker) 1- Entex 1/48 Se5A (Aurora Copy) 1- Aurora 1/48 Fokker D-VII (Late 70 version-Berthold)

No problem Martin. Would you prefer the early one with eisenkreuz markings (F102) or the latter with the balkenkreuz (DR1 425) ? Or one of each?  ???

Des, I need to make room. I'm sure your familiar with the old modelers adage. Too many kits, too little time!  :(

Hey Chuck, I'm about to leave for a walking trip along St Cuthbert's Way in the Scottish Borders with some old university pals (Last of the Summer Wine jokes!) and on Saturday will come back up through Edinburgh so I can pick up a Revell 1/28 Camel as a gift for my elder son. I got him to read Winged Victory last month and he's buzzing about Camels. Wonderland in Embra are doing it at half price so at 8GBP it's probably cheaper than postage from US of your free kit.

Although I won't ask you for a kit, can I just say that your offer is extremely generous and I take my hat off to you for such a kind and altruistic thought. Here's to you.

Hi Sandy, Sorry but the Camel is spoken for.

Chuck

Sandy, I misread your earlier post. Sorry for any confusion that might have resulted and thanks for your kind compliment.  :-[

If the Hobbycraft 1/28th Dr1 is available I am in. Not sure if it is a revelle repop but would be interesting to build either way.

Rick, you got it. IIRC it is just a repop of the Revell kit but it does have different markings. PM me your shipping info.

OK, here's what left:

The older 1/28 Fokker DR1, one of the Revell/Germany boxing of the Fokker DR1 and the 1/48 Entex SE5A. All other kits are spoken for.

Hello gentlemen and ladies,
If one of the Revell Dr1 is still available, I'm interrested. How much for costage post for France, please ?
A very generous offer. Congratulations.
Best regards.
Alain.

Sorry Alain, but all the kits are spoken for. I was going to post that all the kits were gone but I've been away all day and haven't been able to post. If it's any consolation, shipping outside the USA is so expensive that it makes it not really worth it.  :(

As stated in my previous post all the kits have been taken. Sorry about the high overseas shipping cost causing several takers to cancell out, but I don't have any control over what the post office charges.  :(
I hope to have the kits packed and sent by the end of the week, at least that's the plan.  ::) Then I'll be sending a PM to each of the takers with the exact shipping amount.

Thanks for understanding.
