Post by: Rob_Owens on September 21, 2015, 10:13:14 AM
Includes OOP Cutting Edge CED32066 The Baron's Tripes
ebay #331660557164
Thanks for looking, Rob
P.S. The Camel is the "new tooled" version, NOT the old HC/Academy copy of the 1/28 Revell kit.

the new tool Hobbycraft is a copy of the 1/28 Revell kit also it's just a little better.the rib tapes arent ridiculous and there are less injection pin marks as well as the engine is better marginally but it's still basically the same layout.both are buildable and look nice the newer tool is just less work.

Google "Hobbycraft Camel Clerget" and you can see a comparison of the "Old" & "New" by Burl Burlingame. Perhaps not as  great a difference as either will be from the WnW Camel, but I seem to recall someone here was offering to trade a WnW kit for the "Clerget/LeRhone" not so long ago!

Not meaning to step on any toes, but the newer Hobbycraft Camel kits are retooled old Hobbycraft Camel kits, not the Revell kit, as the Hobbycraft kits are 1:32 scale, not 1:28. Hobbycraft did box the Revell Triplane in 1:28 though.

I think he was just trying to imply that the old tool was copied from Revells 1/28 basic design and layout of parts which it was it looks like a slightly smaller revell kit. I have both old tool and new tool hobbycraft camels and they are practically the same kit except the new tool refined some of the glaring errors such as the retarded way overdone rib tapes etc. like I said above.both old and new Hobbycraftcan in fact make a decent camelthe new tool requires less corrective labor the ribs don't have to be sanded nearly as much and there's much less injector pins to fill etc.I wasn't trying to start anything up either I was just trying to clarify that the old and new are practically the same kit
