I would like to take this time and apologize for my absence on the forums . We have a had a wonderful summer weather wise and my time has been spent out doors and with my new job I don't have much time in the evenings for spending it in front of the bench or the forums and opt for hanging out side by the fire pit :)
I have been following a few threads and I must say , you guy's never disappoint on the quality of your builds .
With fall coming along and the colder weather I shall be back on a few projects .

Glad to see you'll be back in full swing in the Fall, T, and truly delighted to see that you've had a great summer! You deserve it, kiddo.
Cheers,
Bud

I hear ya Terri, spent most of my summer away from the bench too; modeling is for the crummy weather months (which there are plenty)
Looking forward to seeing your next projects unfold :)

Good to see you back Terri but I can fully understand you wanting to spend time outside while the weather is good, life is more important than modeling.

Terri,
We've had a pretty nice Summer here in Alberta for certain, glad to hear you enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to your renewed participation and not to worry, I'm sure the next chapter of "Winter in the Great White North" will provide lots of opportunity for that!
Cheers,
Lance

Terri,
No need to apologize for having a life! We all should take some time and go outside to smell the flowers, instead of sitting at a bench and sniffing Tamiya glue! ;D

hmm well I have to admit I really like the smell of Tamiya PAINT (glue not so much)

Really? I don't use their paint because of the smell. :)
Anyhoo, welcome back, Terri.

Good to hear you have had a good summer, Terri...of course
it never lasts long enough, which on the other hand is good for
the modeling. :D
Cheers,

Hello, Terri -
No worries - great to see you back. I was pretty absent from the forum myself until recently, so know where you are coming from.

Great to see you back Terri. We too have had a good summer here in the south of the UK but as I am now retired I am able to enjoy the great outdoors every afternoon if I want to. Modelling time is generally confined to the evenings whatever the weather for family reasons. When I was working things would have been very different - make the most of the good weather while you can.
Really looking forward to seeing some more of your models on the forum - have you got anything lined up yet?
Stephen.

Great to see you back here, Terri, but even better that you enjoyed your summer outdoor.
Looking forward to your next models

Thank-you very much guys . Feels good to be back and I got bench time in yesterday . What a great feeling !
Lance , not looking forward to the winter at all . I don't do well in cold weather any more . But we did have a beautiful summer , not so for the framers for the lack of rain .
Stephen , I do have a few projects lined up . First will be on finishing the Rumpler 6B1 Float plane , Pfalz Dr.1 and the MS AI . Also have on the go is Revells 32 scale Bf 109 G-6 and will be starting a build review on Eduards new release of the Yak Ib Limited Edition kit in 48 scale . They are only producing 3000 kits . Never done a Russian bird before so this should be fun .
Will also be starting on project in my Dads honor . He was a big fan of the Spitfire , Mustang and the F4U-1 . Will be using Tamiyas 32 scale kits for this .

Great choice with the Tamiya 1:32 scale kits Terri, they are excellent and packed with detail, you will thoroughly enjoy the builds, I love the F4U-1.

Good to see you back, Ma'am!
If you are not familiar with Soviet machines of the period, do check these links:

Far and away the best source for information on the subject in English. The forum moves a bit slow, and is tricky to join, but worth the effort, and there is a lot there to read still if you do not join.

Hi Terri:
Welcome back indeed. I too have been off the forum doing the same, enjoying a great summer. Looking forward to getting back into WWI and 'wingy things'.
Best
