I continued with painting.

Here, I realized a pre-shadowing on a sandy base.

But it is too dark, and it's visible after application of decals Aviattic. It's too late!

I think the shading looks pretty good, actually.  Perhaps you could tone it down with a light overcoat.

I didnt have an idea that Eduard has ever produced this kit but Im surely excited to see you put your hands on it ;)

Outstanding work on the interior framework! As you have discovered the Aviattic Lozenge is very transparent. You could try Drews suggestion, perhaps a light beige overspray, or light bluish grey?
