Title: Italian Book about Tebaldi - Zari prototype fighter
Post by: ermeio on August 26, 2015, 07:20:20 AM
here is a book that I bought in my last visit in Turin.
It covers an obscure and interesting series of italian WW1 fighters: the Tebaldi Zari.
They were entered in the 1917 fighter competition and later in the post war fighter context.
The book is based on the documents found in an old case by the nephew of the designer and contains many drawings and photos of the prototype, comprised a lot of photos and drawings showing its inner structural details.
I started a model of this fighter in the 90s (incidentally, I bought the 3 view together with the one of the Pensuti, from the late Carlo Godel) but the model lays somewhere since I did not have enough documentation.
I think that the time has come to complete it.

That is a really nice looking aeroplane Ermeio, a scratch build contender for sure.
