Hello!
I`ve finished her ;) The Vickers guns are Part`s the rest is out of the box plus some minor scratch building. The prop is carved.
I really enjoyed this one though due to lack of time it took quite a long...

I like it a lot, Filip! A great hero of mine and one of my favorite aircraft. Your figures are beautifully done as well. Congratulations on a very nice model.
Cheers,
Lance

I've built the same model in exactly the same markings in the past!
Yours is a truly excellent result - fantastic Camel.

Dave

Very well done Filip, the aircraft is beautifully finished and your figures are superb.

She's truly stunning, Filip! This is my favorite rendition of Barker's Camel and you've done a spectacular job. Must do a Camel build in the very near future.
Cheers,
Bud

Outstanding Filip. :)
As Bud said, my favorite Camel markings too and one I will do on Wingnut's kit (hopefully soon :) )
Yours is a great standard to attempt to emulate, thank you. :)

A terrific example of the Camel! Excellent work all around from construction to finish. The figures posed with the Camel are outstanding examples of what can be accomplished in 1/48th.

Wonderful model, especially the propellor which can be difficult to get to look right. The b&w photos make it look very authentic. Well up to the usual very high standard that comes off your bench.

Immaculate Camel, Filip. Congratulations on fulfilling your long hold dream!

A beautiful Camel and in the best markings - Superb!
vB ;)

Great Camel in attractive markings
The Eduard model is the most realistic on the market
And you added realism with your talent

Many thanks gents :)))) I`m really happy that you like my Camel - your kind words mean much to me :)
-
That is a lovely model of my favourite type of WW1 aircraft. Thank you for posting.
-
Beautiful job of the Camel, Filip! A model to be proud of,
and the figures compliment it very nicely. Well done, my friend.
Cheers,
Ernie :)

Fantastic build Filip, the WIP for this wonder stopped at an early stage so it was not showed hod did you actually make the red devil on the MG.
I ask because this is the schema I will make for the same kit and actually can't imagine how to make it. :o
Congratulations for the astonishing result!

Cheers! !:)) Andonio the devil is from the PE set and was included in the model. Should you want to build this Camel I van ony recommend buying Eduard's kit or trying to cut IT out of paper soaked in CA glue...
-
Thanks Filip, I have exactly the same kit (Eduard 8056)
And I had not noticed therewas also the little devil in the PE fret!
WOW!
That's a great news, I want to make the Barker's Camel because he took part (well he fired it) to the battle of Istrana (same where the 76th Squadriglia participated with the 2 Hanriots I am currently working on)
Ciao

Filip, what a great model! At first glance, I thought it was 1/28, not 1/48. The B&W photos are especially nice and you've captured the correct stance of the landing gear.
