Hi y'all!
Great news!
It's supposed to be a new kit with nothing to see with the old HiTech kit. But let's wait and see.

Nice! Thanks for posting, Iwik. If it's like the other models on their site, it'll be far better than the Hi-tech kit. I wonder if their Camel is 1/48 scale, as well.
Cheers,
Bud

Fantastic to see another new kit, the WW1 aircraft model list is getting longer, it looks to be an excellent kit.

yeah, at the least it will bring down cost of over priced oop hi-tech kits. some of these guys on ebay think some of those old gnarly lumps are cast of gold not plastic.

i just looked over at hannants,i think this must be re-named contact resin, they have a camel as tba ,it says 1/48 and the price is 80 pounds sterling so i blow up the picture and the art says 1/24 resin camel,it is most definately the promo photo from that kit that was released back in the drome days. check it out.

Oh, yeah, Scott. I remember this one. It is definitely the Contact Resine kit. Remember those enormous rib tapes? Still, it's a pretty nice kit.

Hi Coyotemagic!
Is it that bad? I thought it was a pretty good kit?

there was a discussion back in the day about it on the aerodrome forum. it was the second release of contact resine in 1/24 ww1.the first was the gorgeous hansa d.1 that ufag built back then. i think it was a let down compared to how nice the hansa kit was. if you can find one of those its at least $500 now.

No, Iwik, I really don't think the Hi-tech Breguet is that bad. I have two in my stash and plan on building at least one of them soon. I just meant that the quality of the Must Have kits seems to be better than the older Hi-tech stuff. If the new release is up to those standards, it'll be very nice indeed. I'm hoping it is, just because I'd like to see a new kit brought out as opposed to a re-pop of an old one.
Cheers,
Bud

Resin's good. I like resin. Very fine detail can be had with it.

i thought iwik was asking if the 1/24 camel was that bad.my post above is about that contact resin camel. the hi tech breguet is not bad, typical short run low pressure injection kit, the surfaces are a tad pebbly and the instructions are a bit sparse but i have seen quite a few built.

Hi y'all!
Yhanks Albatros1234.
"Bad" news. It's a resin copy of the HiTech kit except the fuselage is one piece.

Resin or not, the detail level will be the same. So no new extradetailed "Gaspatch" like kit here... :'(

I Hope that Gaspatch or special hobby will tackle the breguet in the next months
And also that WNW Makes one in 32.
Saint Exupery, help us...
P.s. I have two or more in my stash and they were not that bad...

it certainly does appear to be the hi-tech kit simplified and converted to resin. i guess it would depend on price whether or not it is a value and/or worth a purchase. i have the hi-tech a2 and this is a b2. you can usually get a hi-tech on ebay for under $50 sooooo.
anyway thanks iwik for the photos.
