Title: SSW D-III inner colors

I found no information on the color used inside the cockpit or the engine compartment. Was it natural wood/metal? Idflieg grey-green? any info would be appreciated.

Hi Vincent ,

For inside the engine bay ( cowling / firewall ) natural Alum Engine mount , black . Cockpit is wood with all metal fittings in black . . Ammo bins , alum . Spent belt bins , alum . The former behind the pilot seat the cut out was fabric covered and left unpainted .
