Title: Gaspatch RAF "Turnbuckles"
Post by: Dave Brewer on June 20, 2015, 01:54:12 PM
I'm interested to know if anyone has actually used these as yet-I can't find anything about attaching wire[monofilament fishing line deformed to a flat profile with round-nosed pliers] to the Gaspatch offering, which apparently has no hole to accept the line.

I was thinking about cutting the pin back and sleeving it also, with brass tube, to the original length, then superglueing the line in.Seems like a bit of a design flaw at this point  though,I wonder what Costas intended the solution to be.

I think the thought was to glue the stretchy "flat" line in parallel to tab ("sistering" as it were).
