Title: Switches
Post by: jknaus on June 13, 2015, 11:11:36 AM: I dont want to steal anyones thunder, this is not my idea originally. I saw it here and cant remember where.
Use Bronco 1/35 half wing nuts 35001 for switched. I filled in the holes with vallejo acrylic putty. I think it looks great and will use these for more builds. So pics with and without.

Post by: Des on June 16, 2015, 07:55:52 AM: Thanks for reminding us of these little beauties James, I have been using them for many years and have often wondered why the kit manufactures don't include a similar item with their kits, but Bronco makes a wonderful product and for the number you get they are inexpensive. I wrote to Bronco asking if they could produce the same set but without the hole, they never replied :(

Oietro I'll look for those.
Wish I had of seen this earlier. I'm quite happy now that I can add some little bits to my builds :)

Yarp, and technically speaking these things on the fuel panel weren't switches -- they were valve handles. At least in American English "switch" usually refers to something electrical...
