Hello all.....
This is a first edition of this book and I am trying to determine a realistic price for it. Not sure if this is the right place to do so but if anyone has any ideas, I will appreciate suggestions. It appears to have a replacement cover and there is some mildew in the first few pages. Otherwise, it is in good shape for its age.
If anyone has info or interest please let me know.
Thanks,
Michael

publish date? ISBN?
-
Date of publishing seems to be 1919 as there is a letter from FDR inside the cover dated August 28, 1919. No ISBN.
There is one of those huge metal staples through the binding increasing my feeling that the book has been recovered at some point.
I will be glad to shoot pix if anyone is interested.
Thanks

a signed letter? original?

Sorry...no...I should have been more clear. It's a copy of a letter written by FDR as Asst SECNAV to all Naval aviators. It serves as a forward to the book.
Cheers,
Michael
PS I do, however, have a letter written and signed by J. Edgar Hoover to my mother explaining to her why he couldn't send an FBI agent to speak to her girl scout troop. No, I'm not making this up.
