Hello :)
Here are some progress photos from 1:32 FE.2b build. I added only HGW seatbelts. The engine and other parts from the kit. I used oils for plywood effects.

Finally the model is ready for gloss varnish! I used lot of masks on the wings for CDL effect :)

Bud, i used Tamiya XF-51 (%25), X22 (%5) and thinner (%70) for tinted varnish effect on the top wing over CDL paint and decals. Also i used Tamiya XF-67 (%5+Thinner %95) for shades.

Thanks a lot! Here's another example my weathering paint style. I hopefully this will help.
I always paint as base coat main color.

I add light tones first. Main color thinned with white. In this case i used RLM 76 + %25 white. For second layer i add midtones. I used some light gray and blue tones. Last layer is dark tones. I used dark gray for this.

For blending all layers; i paint with very thinned (%5 paint) main color overall.
