It's Memorial Day here in the U.S. Just thought I'd remind my U.S. brethren to take a moment out of their day to remember all of those who gave the last full measure.
Slow Salute,
Warren

Yes, I salute!
A formation of AT-6 Texans just flew over my house. Gotta love that sound! ;D

So true Warren as we take time to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. I'm sitting home watching old war movies on tv, unfortunately none about WW1.

"If you are able,
save for them a place
inside of you
and save one backward glance
when you are leaving
for the places they can
no longer go.
Be not ashamed to say
you loved them,
though you may
or may not have always.
Take what they have left
and what they have thaught you
with their dying
and keep it with your own.
And in that time
when men decide and feel safe
to call the war insane,
take one moment to embrace
those gentle heroes
you left behind "
