Hi,
the fokker D.VII is sold out on the WW website. De D.VIIf and albatros build D.VII are still available. But is it possible to build a fokker D.VII from the D.VIIf kit or albatros kit? It seems the the same sprues are in the same kits but only the decals are different and some part are or are not used for the different versions.
Thanks, regards Michiel.

Hi Michiel,
The DVII (Alb) kit can only be built as an Albatros built Mercedes powered DVII.
The DVIIF kit can be built as a BMW powered DVIIF, or if you buy the separate Mercedes DIII engine sprue and the extra (Fok) version decals, can be built as a Fokker built Mercedes powered DVII.
There is no way to convert either to OAW built.
A little more on what Justin said. The engine /cowl panels are different on the Fokker ,Albatros, and OAW DVIIS. The only way to get an OAW version from the Fokker DVIIF would be to trade or purchase all of the required nose parts. I think the Axle wing may also be different but would have to check.

Hi Michiel,
I have two WNW DVIIs - an Alb-built and a Fokker-built. But, to do two of the Pheon Jasta 30 examples I really need two Alb-builds. I just ordered the factory-specific sprue (Alb in this case) from WNW. They may or may not be still available.
Cheers,
