Title: Gotha G.IV - decals for a plane in Polish guise
Post by: rhwinter on May 14, 2015, 06:24:41 AM
Just found that:

http://www.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=19502&mode=thread&order=0

So now I know for sure that the Polish flew and used each and every German plane...

By the way: Anybody here to have some Information (literature?) on the use of German and other nation's plane-developements by the Polish during their fight to keep up national integrity after WW1? Przemol, perhaps?

Indeed, I have some literature on this subject.  ;) How could I help you?

Thank you for your kind offer, Przemol!
What I am looking for is a recommendation for a book (or two...) about the Polish Air Force during the period of the Post-War-Wars, that is planes, profiles and the historical background. As I do not know any polish except for "dobry den" and "dzenkuje", I would prefer books written in english...
By the way: Is that Polish Gotha G IV on your building-list? I would be most delighted to see that...
Best regards
Richard

For the start I would suggest:
Tomasz J. Kopanski "British WW1 Aircraft in the Polish Air Force", Mushroom Model Publications, 1999.
There are some other books in Polish language. THen, there are numerous sections in various WDs.
As for Gotha, I do not plan it. But Marcin Chruscielewski (Chrupek) built a WNW kit.
